AshwellCare Welcomes Worcestershire County Council Chair to Discuss Local Care

AshwellCare recently welcomed Councillor Louis Stephen, Chair of Worcestershire County Council, to our offices for a constructive discussion about the future of care within the local community. The visit provided an opportunity to share more about who we are as a care provider, the values that guide our work, and the day to day realities of delivering reliable, person centred home care.

During the meeting, we explored what high quality care looks like in practice and the challenges currently facing care providers across Worcestershire. The conversation focused on the importance of strong relationships between care services and local authorities, and how collaboration can help ensure individuals and families continue to receive consistent, compassionate support at home.

We also discussed how local government can work alongside organisations like AshwellCare to support ethical, sustainable care services that reflect strong family values. Open and honest conversations such as this help build understanding and create positive outcomes for the people who rely on care across the region.

AshwellCare would like to thank Councillor Louis Stephen for taking the time to visit, listen and engage with our team. We look forward to continuing this dialogue and working together to strengthen care provision across Worcester and the surrounding areas. When care providers and local leaders share the same commitment to quality and community, it helps create better support for everyone.
