We are incredibly proud to announce that Ashwell Care has achieved an outstanding milestone at this year’s Worcestershire Health and Social Care Awards, with five finalist nominations across multiple categories.

These nominations are a wonderful recognition of the dedication, compassion and professionalism that our team demonstrates every day. From providing exceptional care in people’s homes to supporting individuals living with dementia, our carers go above and beyond to make a positive difference in the lives of those they support.

Recognising Outstanding Care

We are delighted that Sam has been shortlisted for Domiciliary Care Worker of the Year. This nomination reflects the kindness, commitment and hard work Sam brings to the role every single day. Sam’s dedication to delivering high quality care and support has made a lasting impact on clients and their families, making this recognition thoroughly deserved.

We are also thrilled that both Valentine and Luq have been shortlisted for Dementia Carer of the Year. Supporting people living with dementia requires patience, understanding and specialist skills, and both Valentine and Luq consistently demonstrate these qualities in their work. Their nominations are a testament to the compassionate and person centred care they provide every day.

Adding to the celebrations, Maria has also been shortlisted as a finalist, making this our fourth individual finalist nomination. Maria’s commitment, professionalism and caring approach perfectly embody the values of Ashwell Care, and we are delighted to see her achievements recognised.

Health Care Employer of the Year

Alongside our individual finalists, Ashwell Care has been shortlisted for Health Care Employer of the Year for the second consecutive year.

To receive this recognition once again is a tremendous honour and reflects our commitment to creating a supportive workplace where our team can thrive while delivering outstanding care to the people who rely on us.
