Ashwell Care Celebrates Community Spirit at ASPIE Charity Football Match

While England battled Norway in the Miami heat, a fantastic charity football match was taking place much closer to home, bringing local people together for an important cause.

ASPIE recently faced Worcester City Veterans in a fundraising match that successfully raised more than £570. The event highlighted the power of community engagement, teamwork and inclusion, while supporting a worthy cause.

At Ashwell Care, we are particularly proud of our colleague Steph, who plays for Worcester City Veterans. Steph’s involvement reflects the values that matter most to us, including supporting opportunities for people to connect, participate and make a positive difference within their communities.

The match was a great example of how sport can bring people together, create meaningful connections and promote a sense of belonging. Events like these play an important role in strengthening local communities and encouraging inclusivity for all.

We would like to congratulate everyone involved in organising and participating in the event. Raising more than £570 is a fantastic achievement, and the support shown throughout the day demonstrates the incredible community spirit that exists across Worcestershire.

At Ashwell Care, we are committed to supporting initiatives that promote wellbeing, inclusion and community involvement, and we are delighted to celebrate Steph’s contribution to such a successful event.
